Sikalanka Fishing Lodge is located on the Honduras Caribbean coast, nested in La Mosquitia, the second largest rainforest in America, and is also home to hundreds of the most exciting game fishing species such as snook, tarpon, jack, cubera snapper and many others.

To say that Sikalanka is remote would be an understatement. And that is exactly what makes this destination so wonderful. Exotic wildlife, huge fish and breathtaking scenery all combine to make this a one of a kind. Honduras is known for gigantic tarpon and the waters around Sikalanka are no exception. Add to this the opportunity for 40+ lbs. cubera snapper and jewfish the size of a Cooper Mini and you have a prime destination. Don’t worry about competing with other anglers or wasting time finding the fish. Sikalanka has all that figured out

Comfort, clean, convenient and carefree. This is the best way to describe the lodge at Siralanka. This is a new lodge that has built on a freshwater lake that is connected by a jungle river to Brus Lagoon, a giant estuary system with 5 main rivers and numerous smaller streams and lagoons.

There are 3 beautifully designed rustic wooden cabins, with full American comfort. Every cabin has two bedrooms with two full size beds, private bathroom with hot running water and a ceiling fan. The construction is 100% rustic wood on the outside and in the inside, with full American comfort and amenities to indulge in 6 beautifully designed bungalows.

The cabins are properly decorated, keeping in mind the surroundings - nature. Sikalanka Fishing Lodge features a modern club house with a fully stocked bar, for relaxation, game tables, quaint reading corners with monthly fishing publications to please every reader’s creative mind. Our dining rooms were designed to give a "home style feeling", where you can indulge on international food, as well as local Caribbean dishes

You depart from the US (Houston or Miami) on either American Airlines, Continental, Tasca or Solair for San Pedro Sula where ground transportation will be provided to La Ceiba. Here you will spend the night, then an early morning charter flight to Brus Laguna. The aircrafts are 14 or 19 place turbo prop commuters. The landing strip in Brus Laguna is a grass strip, but is large and very safe for the aircraft used. A shuttle boat will be awaiting you near the airport for a quick 30 minute ride to the Lodge. Stow your bags, grab some breakfast and head out for an exciting day of fishing

There are many other activities available to guests. Some of these include:

- Bird Watching
- Jungle exploration

Please call us and we can give you more details on the activities above.
