Season: Year Around Primary Species: Bonefish (a.k.a. Silver Ghost) Other Species: Tarpon, Shark, Snapper and Barracuda One of the most addictive fights you have yet to experience. Bonefish are found primarily in shallows often less than 1 foot deep. They range in size from 3 pounds up to 12 pounds. They are referred to as the "Grey Ghost" because they look like shadows in the sand
The Bonefish Lodge - The newest of the Peace and Plenty Club properties is a paradise for both fishermen and non-fishermen alike. Rooms are air conditioned and have most amenities you find at home. In the "Lodge" there is an Honor Bar, Satellite TV, Communication center, fly tying table, Library, Games and Verandah which is perfect for the afternoon fish stories. There are eight, spacious rooms with two queen beds, air conditioning and balcony overlooking the water. P&P Bonefish Lodge Restaurant & Bar serves conch chowder, local seafood, steaks, salads, scrumptious desserts in an island ambiance. At the end of the day, enjoy a gourmet meal in the dining room and discuss the days events in the Fisherman's lounge or maybe you can watch the shark feeding just after sunset
The Exuma International airport (George Town) is a direct flight from Miami, Fort Lauderdale and Nassau. Upon your landing, there will be a van to transport you to Peace and Plenty Club, a short drive from the airport
